DC/AFC SPRING HILL'S PANCHO DEL PRADO - owned by Steve Lauterbach
Pancho finished his Dual Championship by going Best of Winners at the Shawnee Kennel Club in Woodstock, Va.on July 16th, 2011. He was expertly handled to all of his show points by fellow Susquehanna club member, and his good buddy, Judy Cohen. Pancho was the last dog trained by the incomparable Gene Stewart and began running in adult stakes at the tender age of 18 months. He finished his field championship at age 3 1/2. He has been owner handled to his field titles. He was also the winner of the Eastern Gun Dog Futurity in 2006.
Running Pancho as a young dog required much patience and help. The little dog with the BIG heart was always fun to watch...his style and speed, coupled with his sheer unpredictability, kept both gallery and judges high in their saddles. Both Tracker, and later Garmin, were some of my best investments. Pancho's scouts were consistently poorly compensated for the effort that was required, and to my friends that accepted the challenge, I cant possible thank you enough. My wife Mary and I are very proud of our first dual. We look forward to celebrating with our friends and fellow club members that helped us along the way.
