Club Picnic at Water and Wings, June 22, 2008
Grounds open at 1:00 pm to run your dogs. Birds available.
Meeting at 4:00 pm. Nominations for club officers/board.
Social hour/Picnic afterward. Anthracite will provide the hot dogs and hamburgers and beverages.
Everybody bring a dish or dessert.

Anthracite Brittany Club will be participating in the Country Doctor Veterinary Hospital
"Responsible Pet Ownership Day-Meet the Breeds" on September 6, 2008
at the Country Vet, 6807 Weiss Rd, New Tripoli from 1-5 pm. The goals are to introduce potential pet owners to new and different breeds and how to determine what breed is good for their family and lifestyle, to educate first time dog owners about the responsibilities of dog ownership and to help current owners enhance their relationship with their canine companion. A broad range of topics such as, acquiring a new dog, training, feeding and nutrition, activities with your dog and the health and protection of your pet. Tours of the veterinary facility and rehab center as well as demonstrations of the Aqua Treadmill will be held.
